In response to Mr. Rau’s concerns about sourcing on wind energy information, everyone should know that Mr. Rau’s source is about as biased as they come.
He says we should believe Navigant Consulting. Wind companies are listed as Navigant Consulting clients. Why would they not say wind is cheap and effective? Just look them up on the Internet.
Wind is costly and not an effective generator of electricity for the simple reasons that the laws of physics demand us to generate power at times we use it. Wind does not do that.
There are so many other reasons why it doesn’t work. It would take a couple of pages to describe them all.
Mr. Rau might have great faith in the unsupported and unscientific claims of industry, but faith won’t generate useable power. Instead we need controllable, available energy 24/7. That is not wind.
