This afternoon while I was out running errands, I came upon road construction on Mercer Avenue, between Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue.
This to me is troubling, because this is the second time in about a year and a half that this stretch of road has been repaved.
Why can't we spend some money and get Wood Street on the west side of town repaved? This road is an accident waiting to happen.
Wake up Bloomington City Council, city workers and even the mayor. There are people who live on the west side of town, and we deserve the same as the east side. We pay our taxes just like anyone else.
Just because I don't live east of Main Street, doesn't mean I don't exist. Wake up people, and take notice of us who live on the west side.
