BLOOMINGTON - OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is planning a medical office building on the west edge of Bloomington and part of the building will be on land donated by Drs. Paul and Ron Nord and their families.
OSF hopes to finalize plans by the end of March for a 4,000- to 5,000-square-foot medical office building at the northeast corner of Illinois 9 (Market Street) and Mitsubishi Motorway, said Anna Lee Fenger, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center chief operating officer for medical network services.
"It's our objective to have something up by the end of 2006, depending of course on construction schedules and the weather," Fenger said Wednesday.
But she said she couldn't discuss further details regarding building plans because they are still being discussed by hospital administration, the OSF Healthcare System board of directors and the Nord family. The plans must be approved by the system board.
