B-N man accused of selling cocaine
BLOOMINGTON - A Bloomington man is accused of selling cocaine to a police source and a police inspector six times from Feb. 2 to May 2.
Jay E. Caldwell, 26, of Partner Place, was in jail Tuesday in lieu of $25,000 on six counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Theft - A Bloomington man is accused of stealing liquor from a grocery store Monday in Bloomington.
Mark L. Kruse, 56, was in jail Tuesday in lieu of $1,000 on a charge of retail theft. A court file says the charge is a felony because of a 1979 theft conviction.
Cocaine - A 33-year-old man is accused of possessing cocaine and a pipe used to smoke marijuana or a controlled substance.
Walter L. Walls, of the 1200 block of West Olive Street in Bloomington, was in jail Tuesday in lieu of $5,000 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft - Two Bloomington 23-year-olds are accused of stealing a compact disc player and CDs from a woman July 29 in Bloomington.
April S. White and Brian J. Fromhertz, of the same address on Joshua Tree Road, were in jail Tuesday in lieu of $300 each on charges of theft. Court files say the charges are felonies because each has a previous conviction for retail theft in separate incidents.
