NORMAL - Police are still looking for a man who robbed a bank June 12 and ran away.

They released a composite image and description of the suspect on Tuesday.

The suspect is described as being about 40 years old and about 6 feet 4 inches tall and having a thin build. He was clean shaven, and no piercings, scars, marks or tattoos were noticed.

At the time of the robbery, the man wore: a dark-colored baseball cap (whether it had an insignia is unknown); a dark blue suit jacket; a blue, casual shirt without a tie; and light-colored blue jeans.

The robbery occurred about 2:10 p.m. at U.S. Bank, 1401 S. Main St. The man entered the bank, demanded money and left, heading south, said Normal Assistant Police Chief Kirk Ijams.

Employees didn't see a weapon during the robbery, Ijams said.

Anyone with information should call Detective Beth Acuncius at (309) 454-9702.
