Police seek child-abduction suspect

BLOOMINGTON — Crime Stoppers of McLean County needs the public's help to find a woman who is charged with child abduction related to a custody case.

Tanya M. Ramos, born in 1982, is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 270 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She last lived in Bloomington.

She is named on a warrant charging her with six counts of child abduction.

Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people who commit felony crimes in McLean County. Callers must use the hot-line number, (309) 828-1111.

Update: Tiffany Scheets, previously profiled in connection with a burglary charge, and Anna Trotter, previously profiled in a forgery case, both have been arrested by Bloomington police.
