HUDSON - Two women were thrown from a sport utility vehicle when it rolled over early Sunday near Hudson, police said.
The driver, Tina Garrett, 38, of Hudson, was in serious condition at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Her passenger, Kristy Hayes, 28, of Stanford, was treated at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal and released, hospital officials said Monday evening. The crash was at about 1:35 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 2200 North Road and 1200 East Road, police said.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, and it went through a T-intersection and into a ditch and a field, police said. A police report indicated Garrett is accused of driving while intoxicated in the accident.
