BLOOMINGTON — Ashley Whitecotton Miller, 30, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 19, 2019, in Urbana.

Ashley was born April 25, 1988, in Bloomington, to Justina “Tina” Whitecotton Robbins.

Ashley leaves behind her husband, Zachary Miller; and her two children, Braxton and Breanna Kelly; and their father, Justin Kelly.

She is survived by her mother, Justina “Tina” Whitecotton Robbins; stepfather, Rusty Robbins; sisters, Alexandria Robbins and Rusty Jo Robbins; brother, Conner Robbins; grandparents, Terry and Rebecca Whitecotton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Grant, who passed in January 2018.

Ashley was a kind, beautiful and charismatic woman. Everyone she came in contact with instantly fell in love with the energy she could bring into a room.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a dedicated mother to her two children, who she absolutely adored. Ashley was a former collegiate athlete, determined worker, natural leader, and was able to excel at anything she put her mind to.

She attended Ridgeview High School and excelled in track, earning a scholarship to Western Illinois University. Ashley was currently working to complete her nursing program, and worked as a homemaker.

A public memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Ewing Manor, Bloomington.

Remembrances may be made in any form; however, a memorial fund has been established in her name to assist with memorials for her family, future expenses, and education for their children.
