Delores A. Siefert, 86, Bloomington, passed away at 9:23 p.m. Monday (Dec. 3, 2018) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Advocate BroMenn Hospice or to the Community Cancer Center, Normal. Arrangements are being handled by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.
Delores was born July 22, 1932, in Pleasant Ridge Township, the daughter of James and Wilma Goodale Peters. She married Norman H. Siefert on March 26, 1955, in Fairbury. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2011.
Surviving are six children, Leslie (Linda) Siefert, McLean; Wilma (Joe) Krieter, Idaho; Laurie Fassett, Brian Siefert, Brenda Tynan and Robert Siefert, in Bloomington. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dick, Gera, Lyle, and an infant brother, Leslie.
Delores worked for Bloomington District 87 in the cafeteria department. Delores was a member of the Moose, loved to play bingo, go on bus trips and a St. Louis Cardinals fan. She also loved to cook for her family.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
