Egerton Montgomery Dover II, 20, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 5, 2018) at his home.
His funeral will be at noon Monday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Pastor Brian Richardson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the memorial home.
Egerton was born April 2, 1998, in Melrose Park, to Egerton and Rhonda Jones Dover.
He is survived by his father, Egerton (Sheena) Dover, Memphis; mother, Rhonda (Stacy Trowbridge) Dover, Bloomington; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Katie Jones, Fairview Heights; five sisters, Tura Dover, Bloomington; Victoria Dover, Austin, Texas; and Kourtney, Kamryn and Chloe Dover, all of Memphis. He is also survived by his uncles, Stanley (Patsy) Bristol, Derick Dover, Marcus Jones, Kenneth Jones; aunts, Winifred Dover, Vivyenne Daniels, Sharon Worrill, Karen (James) Thomas, Wendy Dover, Stacey (John) Both, Melanie (Dijon) Brittain; and numerous cousins who loved and cared for him deeply.
Egerton was a 2016 University High School graduate where he was active. He ran on the track team, played football and played the viola in the school orchestra. Currently he was enrolled at Heartland Community College and was working in customer service at Sprint in Bloomington where he had been for two years. Music was a great part of his life and had recently started working as a videographer for local rap artists. He will be missed dearly by all.
Egerton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hilton and Mary Dover.
