F. Mark Wade, 76, of Chicago, passed away Monday (July 2, 2018) peacefully at home in the company of his wife, Maggie.
He is survived by his treasured sons, Chris and Jason; his cherished grandchildren, Ava Ricke and Liam Wade; and his sister, Nan Wade Craig.
His loss is felt deeply by many relatives and friends. Mark was widely admired and generously shared his caring, warmth, humor and integrity. He will be missed.
Mark was the son of the late Francis M. Wade and Marjorie Bonham Wade. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alan. Mark grew up in Normal, graduating from University High School and Illinois Wesleyan University. After college, he joined the Navy, serving as a supply officer in Philadelphia, where he met Maggie. He worked in the food service and food equipment industry for 35 years.
Mark enjoyed an active life of tennis, golf and motorcycling, as well as traveling widely with Maggie.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
