BLOOMINGTON — The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him, and women wanted to be with him. Frank Rudy Marmolejo of Bloomington was called home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2019, at home in Bloomington, after a yearlong battle of lung cancer.
He was born June 1, 1968, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Lionel and Margaret Howe Marmolejo.
He is survived by two beloved daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Barringer, Skyler Marmolejo; four cherished grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Montanah, Lawrence; his beloved dog, Kodi; mother, Margaret Alwood; seven siblings, Lionel (Sue) Marmolejo, Linda (Bruce) Dominy, Marty (Bobbie) Marmolejo, Jesse Marmolejo, Laura Marmolejo, Rose (Rob) Blessing, and his twin sister, Nettie (Bill) Dawson; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends who have become family along the journey of this life which he loved to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Franki Louise; father, Lionel; siblings, Gilda and Wayne; maternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Howe; paternal grandparents, Jesus and Angela Marmolejo.
