BLOOMINGTON — Ink Ivan Peasley of Bloomington died Oct. 29, 2019, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

He was born Nov. 5, 1956, to Eldon and Ada Peasley. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Hannah; his children, Jenai Peasley, Bloomington, and Jerrica Peasley, Texas, and their mother, Patty Auge, Texas; one grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and sisters, Tara Flynn, Bloomington; Shelly Giffin, Texas; and Tiffany Kletz, Bloomington.

Ink worked the oil rigs of Texas and later was a union laborer in Bloomington.

Once you met Ink you were a friend for life. He told story after story, and most were true.

An avid gun collector, hunter, fisherman and boater, he simply loved the outdoors. He was proud of his association with the Black Pistons motorcycle club and cherished the brotherhood of all the members.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services per his wish. A celebration of life will be from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 at the VFW in Bloomington. Contributions to offset his medical costs will be accepted at that time.
