BLOOMINGTON — LaVon Krueger, 96, of Bloomington, passed away at 3:01 p.m. Saturday (April 13, 2019) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomington, with the Rev. Chuck Bahn officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
LaVon was born Oct. 3, 1922, in Colfax, a daughter to Harry and Eva Spry Munster. She married Howard E. Krueger on April 10, 1948. They were married for 61 years; he preceded her in death April 20, 2009.
Surviving are four daughters, Carol (Mike) Gilmore, Nancy Kagel and Norma (Bob) Althouse, all of Bloomington, and Connie (Lloyd) Sloat, Orlando, Fla.; one son, Paul (Lynda) Krueger, Bloomington. She had six grandchildren.
