Marilyn H. Phillips, 70, of Bloomington, passed away 2:35 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 5, 2018) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation rites were accorded and no service will be held. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, handled arrangements. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
Marilyn was born Dec. 7, 1947, to Harold and Ruby Campbell in Paxton.
Her loving husband, Kenneth Phillips, survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Tonya (Chuck) Klepper, Tennessee; Rodney (Misty) Phillips, Heyworth; and Dennis (Rose Killian), Bloomington; a special daughter-in-law, Luanne Veino; grandchildren, Mandy, Tabitha, Kailey, Kyle and Emily; and her great-grandchildren, Rylea, Ryon and Wyatt.
She is also survived by five sisters and two brothers.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Neil Gordon; one sister; and her wonderful grandson, Cody Klepper.
Marilyn worked for Admiral for 21 years. After it closed, she went to work for Rowe Construction before retiring in 2006. She was a member of Laborers Local 362.
Marilyn was a kind and loving person who loved spending time with her family. Her husband loved her dearly and will miss her.
