BLOOMINGTON — Ryan Jeffrey Fluty, 25, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday (March 13, 2019) at his home.
His funeral will be at noon Tuesday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the memorial home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Ryan was born Oct. 12, 1993, in Normal, to Christiana Fluty.
Surviving are his mother, Christiana Shields, and stepfather, Tom Shields, both of Normal; siblings, Christopher (Amanda Smith) Fluty, Bloomington; Mathew Hernandez and Teah Hernandez, both of Normal; girlfriend, Tristen Watchinski, Bloomington; Orlando Hernandez, who played a large role in his upbringing; his best friend, Bane, his dog; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his granny, Sandra Donley, and grandpa, Ron Fluty.
Ryan was known for his creativity, writing his own rap music and performing locally. He cherished spending quality time with his family and friends.
