Dr. Sun San Lin, M.D., 77, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday (Feb. 10, 2019) at OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after services.

Sun was born July 10, 1941, in Taichung, Taiwan, son of Sen-Won and Yang Yen Lin. He married Ya Chang on April 23, 1970.
Surviving are his wife, Ya, Bloomington; two children, Evelyn (Kurt) Paulsen, Middleton, Wis., and Johnny (Vicky) Lin, Oak Brook; and five grandchildren, Anna, Stephen and Lydia Paulsen and Kyle and Cameron Lin. Also surviving are his siblings, Grace Tsung, St. Paul, Minn.; Yue Kan Lin and Green Dong Lin, both of Taipei, Taiwan; Terry Yeh, of Lafayette, Colo.; Monica Wei, Darien; and Faye Lu, Tustin, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Dr. Lin was an obstetrics and gynecology physician in Bloomington, where he had his own practice for over 30 years before retiring.
He enjoyed playing tennis, hiking in national parks with his wife, but most of all, traveling with his family and grandchildren.
