LeROY — Thomas K. Riddle, 64, of LeRoy, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 15, 2019) at his home in LeRoy.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. A private graveside service will be held later in Minier Cemetery, Minier. Memorial contributions may be made to the LeRoy Christian Church.
He was born Feb. 21, 1955, in Bloomington, to Leslie Keith and Judith Gay Hasty Riddle. He married Cathy Sue Reynolds Schurr on Dec. 22, 1995, in Bloomington. She survives in LeRoy.
Also surviving are three sons, T.J. Riddle, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Dustin E. (Melissa) Riddle, Normal; and William (Sammie) Schurr, Mahomet; five grandchildren, Zack Riddle, Florida; Sky, Owen and Bodi Riddle, all of Normal; and William Schurr, Mahomet; one sister, Kathleen (Robert) Mott, Pekin; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Riddle, Tremont; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Brett Allan Riddle.
Tom had worked for Caterpillar and retired from State Farm. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Minier, and the LeRoy Sportsman Club.
He was a die-hard Cubs fan and enjoyed his unsweetened iced tea. He had bowled a 300 game and scored his first hole-in-one on Aug. 17, 2018, at Indian Springs Golf Course, Saybrook.
Tom loved all his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
