Children's Home & Aid wants to thank our community for a record year for Stuff the Bus for the Crisis Nursery
Thanks to you, we collected nearly 6,150 children's supplies to stock our shelves so we can feed, clothe and care for the hundreds of at-risk children who come to us when their family is in a state of crisis.
In addition to items like blankets, diapers and formula, we received more than $4,300 in gift cards and cash for the Crisis Nursery.
Also, thank you to our sponsor, Paul Davis Restoration, as well as Connect Transit, Walmart and Kroger, who team up to make this annual event possible.
The Crisis Nursery at Children's Home & Aid in Bloomington provides a safe environment for children whose family is experiencing a state of crisis. These crises could include parental stress, domestic violence, homelessness or mental health issues. The only one of its kind in the area, the Crisis Nursery serves about 220 children annually.
