Another shooting, more hysterics. A gun never shot anyone. A shovel never moved an ounce of dirt. Each takes a human to activate it. Each of these shooters has a mental problem.

In this state, we shut down Manteno, Dixon, Lincoln, Menard, Jacksonville, Vandalia mental health centers. All states followed suit. All these people are left to roam free, no medical treatment. In this county, we spent over $40 million to house some. They will not get the attention they need. We just extended the jail. It is not a mental hospital.

All the states did the same thing. A group of do-gooders felt they should not be confined. The state of Illinois has a firearms identification system run by the state police. This will stop questionable people from owning arms. It does not take the place of a mental hospital, but it does help.
