On June 6, 1944, the Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. All of these men deserve our respect and honor. These men fought for our democracy and freedom against the Nazis. Their debt can never be repaid by we who enjoy the benefits on their heroism.
Our country's president is beyond belief. Before his speech commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day, he attacked a war hero of the Vietnam War (Robert Mueller) on foreign soil with a backdrop of American graves.
Here is a president who did not serve, using his family influence to receive five deferments to get out of serving in the Vietnam War. Then he has the guts to attack a man who served in the Vietnam War, receiving a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service. This was done at a cemetery honoring so many who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
This president has no conscience or empathy for anyone. When will the rest of the veterans speak out against this commander-in-chief?
