Damoni Clemon, 43, of the 2000 block of East Empire Street, Bloomington, was charged as of Nov. 8, 2018, with unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to deliver the drug, reckless driving and three other traffic offenses. Local and federal law enforcement officials conducting a joint investigation found about 185 grams of powder cocaine, 115 grams of crack cocaine and $6,900 in cash during their search of three apartments in Bloomington. Also seized were three handguns, a shotgun and a bulletproof vest, said police. Clemon also faces charges related to a Nov. 6 crash at Clearwater Avenue and Veterans Parkway, Bloomington, in which Clemon, already a suspect in the other drug case, fled the scene and left 24 grams of crack cocaine in his car, police said. Clemon was jailed in lieu of posting $50,035. His co-defendants are Khalil Hood, Raymone Stephens, Lorenzo Aken and Larry Lanier.
