Max Chapman is the inspiration for the Tee It Up! for GFPD. Max is five years old and has PBD (peroxismal biogenesis disorder), a very rare disorder that will cause him to lose sight, hearing and eventually cause kidney, liver and bone damage. Most with this disease don’t live past the age of 10. This two-day fundraiser (reception and golf scramble) uses money raised to help find treatment options for this disease.

It was a night of fun and food as guests listened to live music from Dan Hubbard and bid on many unique silent auction items in a variety of categories, including sports, art/photography, family/children, food/beverage, services, and travel. The big-ticket live auction item was a Green Bay Packer trip for four with private jet transportation generously donated by Morris Packaging, which brought in $4,500.

Organizers are optimistic that last year’s total of $137,000 will be met or exceeded.
