CLINTON, Iowa (AP) -- Josh McLain hit an RBI single in the top of the 10th inning to lead the Great Lakes Loons to a 1-0 win over the Clinton LumberKings on Wednesday.
Luke Heyer scored the go-ahead run on the single after he started the inning on second.
Clinton had a runner on third in the bottom of the 10th, but Juan Camacho grounded out to end the game.
Great Lakes starter Edwin Uceta struck out seven and walked one while allowing four hits over six scoreless innings. Jasiel Alvino (1-0) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Marvin Gorgas (3-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
The LumberKings were held scoreless for the fifth time this season, while the Loons' staff recorded their third shutout of the year.
