BNBA Silver suffers 10-run defeat

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. - John Mersch drove in two runs and had three hits as the Bloomington-Normal Baseball Association Silver fell to the Lafayette White Sox, 13-3, on Friday.

The game was stopped in the fifth inning because of the 10-run rule.

Zach Lauer drove home one run for the Silver (11-2). Bloomington starting pitcher Brian Wert (2-1) took the loss.
