TEQUESTA, Fla. — Todd Mitchell of Bloomington and a pair of Illinois State golfers advanced to match play in the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball at Jupiter Hills Club.

ISU's Trent Wallace of Joliet and Zach Burry of Quincy fired their second straight 65 on Sunday. Their 130 total in the best-ball competition was second in the 128-team field.

Mitchell and partner Scott Harvey of Greensboro, N.C., who led after a first-round 62, shot even-par 70 to tie for fourth at 132. Mitchell and Harvey advanced to the quarterfinals last year at Pinehurst (N.C.) Country Club.

Also advancing was former ISU golfer Dennis Bull of Norwalk, Iowa. Bull and partner Andrew Price of Lake Bluff tied for 13th at 5-under 135.

The top 32 teams made the match play. First-round matches will be held Monday.
