Illinois State senior Kate Del Fava was named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Midwest Region First Team, the organization announced Monday.
Del Fava led the Missouri Valley Conference in goals (17), points (39) and game-winning goals (6), sweeping the MVC Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards.
She also was selected as the MVC Elite 17 Award winner, named a Senior CLASS Award finalist and set the record for most MVC Offensive Player of the Week awards in a season (5).

Falls wins league award: Eureka College's Olivia Falls, a Bloomington High School graduate, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball for the second week in a row.
Falls posted a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 7-of-11 from the field and 7-of-11 from the free-throw line in a win over Knox. She also contributed three assists.
It was her second 20-point game of the season and her fourth time reaching 10 rebounds or more in five tries. She is averaging 16 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 60.4 percent from the floor, the second-best percentage in the league.
Bennington honored: Eureka College's Dakota Bennington is the SLIAC men's basketball Player of the Week.
Bennington had a game-high 26 points while shooting 50 percent from the floor and going 14-for-14 from the free-throw line as Eureka improved to 4-1 with a 93-80 win over Dominican. The 6-foot-3 senior also had seven rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks.
He is averaging 25 points per game while shooting 59.5 percent from the floor.
