BLOOMINGTON — Illinois Wesleyan senior guard Molly McGraw has been chosen as an honorable mention preseason All-American on the teams selected by as announced on Tuesday.

McGraw scored a team-high 16.9 points per game last season and her 474 points ranked No. 6 in an IWU single season. She earned honorable mention All-American on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association team, was selected to the second team of the all-Central Region squads and was a first team all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection.

The Central Catholic High School graduate scored a career-high 37 points against North Central, third most in program history, and set an IWU record with 15 field goals against North Park.

McGraw enters her senior season No. 12 all-time at IWU with 1,177 points.

Also a track All-American as a national champion high jumper, McGraw joins Melinda Sprague as the only two Titan women who have been All-Americans in two sports. Sprague was an All-American in cross country and outdoor track.

The preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-American and All-Region nominations. IWU opens its regular season Nov. 17 against Colorado College in the University of Chicago Maroon Invitational.
