BLOOMINGTON — Kirsten Slaughter won two individual events and set a pool record in the 100-yard freestyle as the Illinois Wesleyan women's swimming team posted a 162-34 home victory over Lincoln College on Friday.
Slaughter topped the 200 freestyle in 1:58.07 before adding a 53.29 mark in the 100. Lauren Dineen-Griffin was a multiple winner, taking the 200 individual medley (2:20.07) and the 200 butterfly (53.29), while Meg Stanley set a school record of 10:31.14 in the 1,000 freestyle.
On the men's side, the Titans got two wins apiece from Vic Lugg and Cory Barnes in earning a 127-64 win. Lugg won the 50 and 100 freestyles (22.04, 48.54), while Barnes captured the 1- and 3-meter diving events (229.05, 248.4).
