FARMER CITY - Daren Friedman of Forrest won the late model feature stock car race at Farmer City Raceway Friday night.
Chasing him across the finish line was Eric Smith of Shirley. Fairbury's Scott Bull took third followed by Bloomington's Jason Feger and Pontiac's Derek Chandler.
The heat winners were Friedman, DeLand's Chris Dick and Oreana's Don Cisco III. El Paso's Joe Harlan led qualifying.
In the feature race for modifieds, Jeff Leka of Buffalo won followed by Chatsworth's Lance Dehm, Maroa's Randy Huffman, Gibson City's Matt Bachman and Buffalo's Rick Weekly. Leka also won a heat and led qualifying. Other heat winners were Huffman and Weekly.
The sportsman feature was won by Bloomington's Darrel Dick. Greg Kimmons of Pleasant Plains took second followed by Lexington's Jimmy Dehm, Bloomington's Gary Turpin and Springfield's Wes O'Dell.
Pawnee's Shane Tomlin won a heat as did Dick and Kimmons. El Paso's Jason Unzicker captured the semi feature.
In the street stock feature race, Farmer City's Jim Quinn won ahead of Timothy Feldhake of Clay City. Lincoln's Terry Miller was third followed by Pana's Donald Beyers and Bloomington's Chris Tackett.
The heat winners were Josh Griffith of Charleston and Quinn.
Chris Burton of Mansfield won the hornets feature followed by Michael Pundt, Lincoln's Bo O'Donoghue, Lexington's Jason Sharrow and Towanda's E.J. Gregory. Burton and Lincoln's Eric Keymon won heats.
