Feldker, Tri-Valley win: Winning pitcher Zach Feldker fanned six and walked three and helped his own cause with two hits in Tri-Valley's 8-5 win at Peoria Christian.
Dee-Mack tops GCMS: Matt Krause had three hits, including a double and triple, scored two runs and worked the mound to lead Deer Creek-Mackinaw (16-9, 10-2) to an 8-2 Heart of Illinois Conference win over host Gibson City-Melvin Sibley (9-15, 4-8). T.J. Schrader added two hits and an RBI and earned his second save.
Dwight splits: Wes Lehman had three hits, drove in two runs and scored two times to help Dwight earn a 9-8 nightcap decision over Peotone. The Blue Devils defeated Dwight 18-5 in the first game.
CPCI wins twice: Eric Brueggert supplied two hits in each game as Cissna Park defeated Bismarck-Henning, 9-7 and 5-4, at Bismarck.
Clinton wins in Okaw Valley: Winning pitcher Cale Robinson blasted two homers and drove in four runs to lead Clinton to a 14-7 Okaw Valley Conference win over host Shelbyville. Aaron Ennis added three hits including a home run and chipped in four RBI for the Maroons (8-12, 3-5).
Iroquois West wins, loses: Keaton Zirkle and Kyle Pool each contributed a home run to spark Iroquois West to a 10-1 first game win over Ridgeview. Pool (6-3) went the distance on the mound.
Eric Dieken had a two run homer for the Raiders in the nightcap but Ridgeview claimed the 12-4 win.
LeRoy 3rd in tourney: LeRoy split two games to finish third in its own Panther Invitational, downing Midland, 12-0, after losing to Delavan, 7-1. In its win, LeRoy's Brandon Bronke had three hits and two RBIs. Eric Steffen and Jake Quad added two hits and two RBIs apiece. In the first game, Nic Stevens had a solo home run for LeRoy (12-13).
Delavan lost to Tolono Unity, 8-2, in the championship game.
