Ennis leads Clinton: Aaron Ennis threw a complete-game seven-hitter and hit a solo home run as Clinton (9-13, 4-6) downed Argenta-Oreana, 6-4, in Okaw Valley Conference play at Argenta.

Streator clinches: Eric Phillis hit three home runs and drove in seven as host Streator clubbed five homers in a 22-3 rout of Dixon to win the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference title.

Streator (15-11, 10-4) sent 16 batters to the plate in an 11-run first inning. Phillis drilled a grand slam followed by back-to-back solo shots from Ryan Nagle and Josh Eplin.

Delavan wins in eight: Mason Coggins tripled home the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning as Delavan (7-12) took a 6-5 nonconference win at Tremont. Coggins had two triples and two RBI.

Tremont (16-8) got three hits and an RBI from Drew Creekmur.

Coker, Stevens lead LeRoy: Alex Coker (2-1) pitched a complete-game two-hitter, striking out nine, and Nic Stevens had three hits and two RBI as LeRoy (14-13) defeated host Peoria Heights, 7-2, in nonconference action.
