GCMS stops Heyworth: Alex Kemmer had four hits including a triple and double, drove in two runs, and scored three times to lead Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (9-11, 4-5) to a 6-4 Heart of Illinois win over host Heyworth (4-16, 2-7). Zack Kirby (2-2) pitched six innings to collect the win.

Laible leads Lexington: Donovan Laible's one-hit shutout sparked Lexington to a 10-0 victory over Tri-Valley at Downs. Jonny Meints had three hits for the Minutemen.

WFC wins pair: Woodland-Flanagan-Cornell defeated Ridgeview, 7-0, and Fieldcrest, 5-3, in Heart of Illinois action at Flanagan. Alec Dutko pitched a one-hitter against Ridgeview. Mason Erschen had three RBIs against Fieldcrest.
