Summaries of games played Wednesday, March 21, 2012:

Olympia stops Brimfield: Zack Talbert had a two-run triple and Mike Hainline added an RBI triple to lead Olympia (2-1) to a 5-1 nonconference win over Brimfield at Stanford. Hainline also picked up the win on the mound, holding Brimfield to two hits over five innings.

Dwight pounds Momence: Dwight pitcher Jake Thomas faced 17 batters in five innings and struck out nine en route to a 23-0 win over host Momence.

The Trojans received three hits from Ben Trainor (five RBIs), Troy Hogan (three RBIs), Ryan Kodat (solo home run).

Fisher slips: Oakwood outhit Fisher, 10-6, to deal the Bunnies (3-1) their first loss of the season, 7-2, at Oakwood.  

Brendan Kuhns plated both Fisher runs while Taw Fredrickson was saddled with the loss.

Eureka downs Lexington: Joseph Anderson hit three doubles and drove in a pair of runs as Eureka (2-0) posted a 6-2 win over host Lexington. J.D. Andrews had two hits and three RBIs for the Hornets.

Donovan Laible had four hits for Lexington (3-4).
