Twin brothers Jacob Hendren and Jared Hendren of league champion University High were first-team picks on the Corn Belt Conference all-star baseball team.

Jacob Hendren was chosen as a pitcher and Jared Hendren at shortstop. Both are juniors.

Unanimous picks included pitchers Caleb Leach of Pontiac and Jason Ziegler of Mahomet-Seymour; second baseman Nick Leach of Pontiac; and outfielders Trent Bounds of Prairie Central and Chase Hainline of Olympia.

Completing the first team were catcher Alex Smith of Mahomet-Seymour, first baseman Cody Litwiller of Eureka, third baseman Jesse Heaton of Central Catholic, outfielder Tim Coonan of Central Catholic and designated hitter Matt Schmidt of Olympia.
