Heyworth Storm

BLOOMINGTON -- The Class 1A Bloomington Sectional baseball games scheduled for today at Horenberger Field have been postponed by inclement weather.

Both games have been moved to Friday, with Tremont facing ROWVA at 4 p.m. and Deer Creek-Mackinaw against Kewanee Wethersfield at 6.

Additionally, the Class 3A Bloomington Regional softball game between University High and Lincoln will resume Friday at 4:30 p.m. The game was suspended Wednesday in the bottom of the sixth inning. The championship game remains scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.

In baseball, the Mahomet-Seymour Regional baseball semifinals have been postponed until Friday. University High will face Bloomington at 4 p.m., before Pontiac and Mahomet square off. The title game remains set for 11 a.m. Saturday.
