Normal Community High School senior forward CJ Wilbourn was named co-Player of the Year in the Big 12 Conference on the all-conference basketball team released Monday.

The 6-foot-7 Wilbourn, a Wisconsin-Milwaukee recruit, shared the honor with Danville senior Sean Houpt. NCHS and Danville tied for the league championship.

Intercity players joining Wilbourn on the 10-player first team were Bloomington senior Caleb Donaldson and Normal West senior Shea Cupples. Wilbourn and Cupples were repeaters from last year's first team.

Rounding out the first unit were Houpt, Champaign Central sophomore Khailieo Terry, Danville sophomore Tevin Smith, Peoria Manual junior Rolando Brown, Peoria Richwoods senior Cortez Mosley, Peoria Notre Dame junior Connor Dillon and Urbana senior Payton Sheen.

Terry, Houpt, Smith, Brown and Mosley were unanimous selections by the league coaches.
