Chante Stonewall had 19 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists to lead No. 3-state ranked University High School to a 70-59 win at Peoria Richwoods on Saturday.

Bailey Larsen added 18 points and six assists for the Pioneers (23-1) while Raven Hughes had 12 points. Kate Olson grabbed 12 rebounds.

U High shot 52.9 percent from the field (27 of 51). Olivia Elger had 26 points and Shelby Wells 19 for Richwoods (19-6), which was within 48-47 of the Pioneers entering the third quarter.

Normal Community 56, Belleville East 49: Summer Stoewer netted 21 points to lead Normal Community(8-16) to a win at O'Fallon. NCHS overcame a 12-6 first quarter deficit by evening the score at 17-17 at haltime. Julia Lemke added nine points.

O'Fallon 59, Normal Community 43: Stoewer led a balanced NCHS attack with 10 points.

PBL 52, Hoopeston Area 41: Kellyn Maynard racked up a whopping 37 points and 34 rebounds as the Panthers claimed a nonconference win at Hoopeston.

Lexington 50, Tri-Point 32: Lillie Walcott scored 14 points, Starr Baker 12 and Gabby Freed 11 for host Lexington (13-9) in a win over Tri-Point (8-14).

Ashten Melton scored 14 points for the Chargers, who trailed at halftime, 25-11. Jacki Weller added 11 points.

Iroquois West 73, Midland 26: Taylor Cultra poured in 33 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Iroquois West (21-3) in a win at Gilman. Grace Schroeder added 11 points for the Raiders, who led, 20-5, after one quarter.

Midland received seven points apiece from Cassidy Corbel, Keley Russell and Bobbi Toepper.

Roanoke-Benson 48, Ridgeview 21: Host Roanoke-Benson received eight points apiece from Madison Gerdes, Payton Hostetler and Madison Leman in a win over Ridgeview.

The Mustangs, who trailed 27-10 at halftime, were led by Jaidan Ballenger's six points.

Calvary Christian 46, Decatur Christian 26: In the semifinals of the East Central Illinois Conference Tournament at Normal, Emily Goldrick scored 17 points and Megan Kamphuis 12 for Calvary Christian (13-6) in a win over Decatur Christian.

Danielle Popis led the visitors with 14 points.

Lincoln 52, Decatur MacArthur 16: Faith Smith and Kristin Engelhardt scored 10 points each to lead the Railsplitters to the win in the Central State Eight Tournament at Lincoln.

BOYS BASKETBALL

PBL 70, Momence 57: Jonny Walder's 18 points sparked PBL to a Sangamon Valley Conference victory at Momence. Dalton Coplea added 15 points, Andrew Zenner 11 and Corbin Riecks 10 for the Panthers (12-8, 2-2). Jeremy Walder grabbed seven rebounds and Coplea had six assists.

Jesse Fulwiley scored 14 to lead Momence, which trailed at intermission, 42-35.

Clinton 62, Shelbyville 61: Tanner White made a free throw with under one second to play to give the Maroons the win in the Central Illinois Conference Tournament at Decatur. The Maroons, led by Jacob Overton's 24 points, fought back from a 10-point third quarter deficit to score the victory.
