Normal Community's Abby Feit pulls down a rebound during the Iron's 76-42 Class 4A regional semifinal victory over Danville on Feb. 12 at Bloomington. Feit was among four Intercity players to earn honorable mention all-state honors on Thursday.

The Central Catholic High School duo of Lauren Shanks and Bailey Coffman and Normal Community teammates Abby Feit and Maya Wong were honorable mention selections on the Associated Press Class 3A and 4A all-state girls basketball teams released Thursday.

Shanks and Coffman, both seniors, were honored in 3A by a statewide media panel after leading the Saints to a 24-7 record and the Saints’ first 3A regional championship.

Feit, a senior, and Wong, a junior, earned honorable mention in 4A after a 23-10 season in which the Iron won a regional championship.

The Class 3A first team included junior Ambranette Storr of Kankakee, senior Tenley Dowell of Morton, senior Camryn Taylor of Peoria Richwoods, senior Maggie Bair of Glenbard South and sophomore Shae Littleford of Charleston.

The 4A first team consisted of Rock Island senior Brea Beal, Rockton Hononegah senior Jordan King, Lake Park junior Darrione Rogers, Maine West senior Rachel Kent and Lincoln-Way West junior Taylor Gugliuzza. Beal was a unanimous selection.
