Normal Community High School's Abby Feit was a unanimous selection, while Bloomington's Ellie Weltha was a first-team pick for the fourth straight year on the Big 12 Conference girls all-star basketball team released Friday.

Also representing the area on the first team were Normal Community senior Summer Stoewer and Normal West's Tresoir Newson. Stoewer was a first-team pick as a freshman and sophomore and received honorable mention last season.

Joining Feit as unanimous choices were Kourtney Crane of Class 3A state champion Peoria Richwoods, Mikala Hall of Danville and Kaitlyn Osmulski of Peoria Notre Dame. Crane was named the Big 12 Player of the Year.

Repeaters from last year's first team were Feit, Weltha, Crane, Hall, Osmulski and Camryn Taylor of Richwoods.

Rounding out the first team were Colby Hughes of Peoria Manual, Derria Edwards of Peoria High, Jaida McCloud of Richwoods and Soente'ra Russell of Champaign Centennial.
