Here is your Prep Report from Tuesday: No. 4-state ranked Roanoke-Benson downs Ridgeview

James Early scored 13 points for No. 4-state ranked Roanoke-Benson High School basketball team (23-1) in a 44-36 nonconference win over visiting Ridgeview (18-6) on Tuesday.

Luke Braman added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Rockets. Garrett Stevens had 12 points for Ridgeview.

Tremont 68, Eureka 65: Titus Thompson tallied 26 points and Isaac Lennington 11 for Tremont (19-6, 8-2) during a victory at Eureka (7-16, 1-6). The Hornets received 30 points from Trever Heffren and 14 from Aden Sears.

Fieldcrest 73, GCMS 50: Andrew May and Noah Nordstrom scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, for Fieldcrest (17-6, 7-1) in a win over GCMS (5-18, 1-6) at Minonk.

Jaxon Cusac-McKay added nine points and nine assists for the Knights. Braden Roesch tallied 13 points and Cade Elliott 10 for the Falcons.

Tri-Valley 62, Prairie Central 58: Braden Zenor registered 20 points, TJ Norman 14 and Jack Moore 10 as Tri-Valley (15-8) earned a nonconference win at Fairbury. Trey Bazzell topped the Hawks (18-7) with 21 points and Kaden King added 11.

El Paso-Gridley 60, Reed-Custer 32: Jack Weber had 15 points and Silas Steiner 12 for El Paso-Gridley (18-7) in a win over visiting Reed-Custer (9-16). Weber also grabbed nine rebounds.

Cornerstone 65, DeLand-Weldon 38: Alex Schippert scored 11 points and Sam Patterson 10 as host Cornerstone (16-7, 5-1) downed DeLand-Weldon. Zach Wolfe had eight assists and five rebounds for the Cyclones.

Calvary Christian 60, Greenview 52: Matthew Wingate had 22 points and Chayton Gearhart 10 for Calvary Christian (14-8, 4-1) in a home win over Greenview (8-14, 3-2).

Flanagan-Cornell 72, Fisher 67: Tyler Harms poured in 26 points, Tyler Pfaff 16, Braden Wallace 12 and Drew Eckhoff 10 for Flanagan-Cornell (11-12, 3-6) in a win over Fisher (2-19, 0-8). The Bunnies received 21 points from Carson Brozenec and 20 from Will Delaney.

Streator 61, Putnam County 37: Jack Haynes scored 20 points, Jack Starkey 13 and Mason Benning 11 for Streator (16-6) in a home win. Haynes sank 11 of 14 free throw attempts.

Gardner 48, Woodland 40: Trevor Derossett had 16 points and eight rebounds for Woodland (6-17) during a loss at Gardner. Sean Bundy added 13 points for the Warriors.

St. Anne 86, Dwight 64: Lane Thompson had 16 points and Bryson Connor 10 for Dwight (10-13) in the Trojans' loss in the Sangamon Valley Conference Tournament at Onarga.

Mount Pulaski 77, Buffalo Tri-City 66: Brandon Kretzinger's 17 points along with 15 from Aidan Schneider and 13 from Drew Martin sparked Mount Pulaski (14-7) past Tri-City.


Normal West 50, Springfield SHG: Olivia Demosthenes scored 10 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter to propel Normal West past Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin in nonconference action at Normal.

Demosthenes also chipped in seven rebounds and four assists as the Wildcats improved to 17-7. Averie Hernandez added 13 points.

Dunlap 66, Bloomington 46: Lauren Strange scored 19 points for Bloomington (3-21) in a home loss.

Tri-Valley 60, Cornerstone 21: Lexi Ferrell scored 15 points, Lauren Carter 11 and Lily Young 10 for Tri-Valley (9-19) in a win at Downs. Clara Pogue had 13 points for Cornerstone (5-11).

Wilmington 46, Dwight 36: Kayla Kodat topped Dwight with 16 points and Nora Anderson contributed eight points and nine rebounds as the Trojans (11-12) were defeated at home.

Mount Zion 55, Clinton 43: Mallory Cyrulik scored 17 points for Clinton (15-13) in a home loss.
