Illijah Donnelly led the Purple Raiders (5-10, 1-3) in the Big 12 Conference game with 17 points. Charles Payton added 11 points and 12 rebounds while Deion Thompson had nine rebounds.

Hank Thomas led Richwoods with 18 points. He sank 5 of 6 free throws in the fourth quarter when the Knights went 12 of 15. They finished 17 of 27 at the line compared with 12 of 16 for BHS.

Xavier Parkman added 17 points and Dane Schlafley had 12 for Richwoods, which trailed at halftime, 35-22.

"The third quarter we let them catch up," said BHS coach Micheal Mosley. "The whistle wasn't going our way. We kind of lost our composure during the game. We put them at the line a lot."
