Eureka High School's football team scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns, including one in the final minute, to rally past LeRoy, 19-14, in a season-opening game at LeRoy.

Sophomore quarterback Matt Martin passed for 122 yards and two touchdowns for Eureka.

LeRoy received touchdown runs from Gabe Bennett and Isaac Neva. Rodney Kaeb gained 62 yards on the ground for the Panthers.

Dee-Mack 14, Tremont 13: Dakota Brush scored on a 2-yard run with 7:16 remaining in the game to lift the Chiefs to the win at Mackinaw on the first game at Jim McDonald Field.

Buster Caiden rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown for Tremont.

El Paso-Gridley 28, Heyworth 0: The Titans scored a touchdown in each quarter to grab the win at Heyworth.

Ryne Faulk led EPG with 158 yards on 34 carries while scoring three touchdowns.

Reece Haney had 10 solo tackles and seven assists for Heyworth.

Prairie Central 52, Rantoul 28: Matt Kerns gained 148 yards on 29 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Hawks to an opening night win at Rantoul.

Wyatt Steidinger scored touchdowns on runs of 29 and 41 yards while also grabbing a TD pass from quarterback Collier Palmore.

Palmore also scored on a 34-yard run for the Hawks. Prairie Central gained 395 yards on the ground in the game.

Fieldcrest 34, Reed-Custer 20: Keegan Robbins scored on a 28-yard fumble recovery on the second play of the game to help launch the Knights to a nonconference victory at Minonk.

The Fieldcrest defense forced four turnovers in the game, while the Knights received a 17-of-21 passing performance from quarterback Tyler McKay for 230 yards and three touchdowns.

Derek May had three receptions for 48 yards and two scores with Mike Morse grabbing five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Micah Hurd scored a touchdown on the ground for the Knights while rushing for 65 yards on 10 carries.

Fisher 52, Hoopeston 12: Tyler Wilson rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns for the Bunnies in a game played at Schlarman High School in Danville. Quarterback Will Delaney added 10-of-12 passing for 105 yards.

Blue Ridge 28, Martinsville 0: Brady Masengale rushed for a pair of touchdowns and passed for two others as Blue Ridge won its season opener at Martinsville.

Masengale scored on runs of 1 and 12 yards and connected with Wayne Bowns on TD passes of 12 and 11 yards.

Dominic Gentry gained 56 yards on eight carries to pace the rushing attack for the Knights, who led 20-0 at halftime.

Lincoln 20, Macomb 13: Host Lincoln had 274 yards of total offense in an opening night win. Quarterback Dreyden Pozsgai completed 11-of-24 passes for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Brandon Sweitzer rushed for 77 yards on 15 carries for the Railers.

Streator 14, East Peoria 7: A 5-yard pass from Trevor Sember to Lucas Sharisky in overtime lifted Streator to the nonconference win at East Peoria.

Riley McCurdy scored Streator's other TD and ended with 131 yards rushing on 22 carries. Sember was 5 of 12 passing for 85 yards.

Monticello 51, Olympia 0: Jackson Castleman was 7 of 14 passing for 76 yards for Olympia in an Illini Prairie Conference loss at Monticello.

Grant Kessinger led the Spartans in rushing with 37 yards on 15 carries, while Matthew Cooksey caught four passes for 51 yards. Castleman and Hayden Stork recovered fumbles for Olympia.
