Class 2A state champion Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School had six first-team selections on offense and five on defense on the Heart of Illinois Conference all-conference football team released Friday.
The Falcons, who won their second straight 2A title last week, had six unanimous picks on offense with quarterback Nathan Garard, running back Jared Trantina, lineman Josh Bleich, tight end Bryce Barnes, wide receiver Ryland Holt and kicker Ben Freehill. All are seniors.
