Parker Wisdom fired a 4-over-par 76 and won medalist honors in a four-way playoff to help Central Catholic High School claim the Class 2A Rantoul Boys Golf Regional on Tuesday at Willow Pond Golf Course in Rantoul.

The Saints fired a 316 total to edge Bloomington by four strokes. Champaign Central took third with 327 to advance with the Saints and Purple Raiders to Monday's Lincoln Sectional at Lincoln Elks Country Club.

Wisdom prevailed in a four-hole playoff that also included BHS' T.J. Barger, Justin McCoy of Champaign Central and Luke Stringer of Monticello. Caden Burns of BHS tied for fifth with a 79 while Central Catholic's Tommy Nelson, Ben Winslow, Ryan Sokol and Cory Hundman tied for seventh with 80s.

Also counting towards the BHS total were Jacob Barger (82) and Jacob Sutton (83).

Pontiac Regional: Medalist Payton Dunahee shot 78 to pace Prairie Central to the championship at the Pontiac Elks. The Hawks had a 323 total and will be joined by Joliet Catholic (330) and Pontiac (346) at the Lemont Sectional.

Dunahee, a sophomore, was one shot ahead of teammate Ty Drach. Also counting for the Hawks were Josh Kilcullen and Rylie Vaughan with 83s.

Pontiac was led by Griffin Nyi's 81. Rocco Sartoris (85), Griffin Brunner (88) and Peyton Cheek (92) also contributed to the team total.

Rock Falls Regional: Streator placed third to advance to the Kaneland Sectional. The Bulldogs had a 333 total to trail only Rock Falls (313) and Freeport (322) on the Rock River course.

Jacob Magana had a 77 to lead Streator, followed by Grant Mascal (80), Cole Holloway (81) and Cooper Wahl (95).

Rochester Regional: Lincoln had three individual qualifiers while Olympia and Clinton had one each at Lincoln Greens Golf Course in Springfield.

Advancing from Lincoln were Dylan Singleton (78), Drew Singleton (84) and Chance McCumber (86). Also moving on to the Lincoln Sectional were Clinton's Carson Schmid (85) and Olympia's Leighton Rutherford (86).

Class 3A

Bradley-Bourbonnais Regional: Brevin Knight was runner-up with a 73 to lead University High to the team title at Kankakee Elks Golf Club.

Knight finished one stroke behind medalist Mason Minkel of Pekin. U High had a 302 total, while second-place Normal Community (305) and third-place Pekin (321) also advanced to Monday's Edwardsville Sectional.

Also counting toward U High's team score were Cody Surma (75), Ethan Huynh (75) and Reece Tennison (79). NCHS was led by 75s from Griffin MCluskey and Brendan Short, while Drew Kagel shot 76 and Logan Winn 79.

Normal West's Evan Hutson was the top individual qualifier not on an advancing team with a 76. The Wildcats' Craig Bland and Ben Hunt also were individual qualifiers with 84s.

Class 1A

Illini Central Regional: Tim Rice and Joel Wockley shot 84s to lead Tremont to the championship at Country Hills Golf Course in Greenview. Tremont had a 352 total and will be joined by the Mercer County Sectional by Eureka (357) and Peoria Christian (368).

Nolen Lieva shot 90 and Torrin Lawson and Ben Garmon had 96s for Tremont. Eureka's counting scores came from Zac Messer (85), Mason Greiner (87), Gabe Wiegand (91) and Clayton Waller (94).

Advancing as an individual was Hartsburg-Emden's Brady Vannaken with a 97.

Windsor Regional: Blue Ridge finished second with a 364 total to advance to the Danville Schlarman Sectional. The Knights were led by an 84 from Jacob Mozingo and Aaron Jayne's 88. Also counting toward the team score were Gavin Raines (90) and Garrett Wendell (102).

Heyworth's Bode Wicklander was an individual qualifier with an 82. Also advancing as individuals were LeRoy's Dan Chastain (91) and Parker Hogue (93).

Greenview Regional Mount Pulaski's Joseph Davis was the lone area qualifier with an 84 at Shambolee Golf course in Petersburg. He advanced to the Mercer County Sectional.
