Normal Community High School's Caelyn Steffens was selected to the first team of the all-Big 12 Conference girls soccer team for the fourth year in a row.

The Pantagraph Player of the Year, Steffens was a unanimous pick of the league coaches. Also named unanimously were Normal West junior Bekah Nielsen, Normal Community junior Maggie Peters, NCHS senior Sabrina Kosharek, Normal West senior Olivia Peters and West junior Jess Hieb.

Other Intercity players making the first team were Bloomington sophomore Denise Watt, Normal Community senior Emma Spader, NCHS freshman Ryann Anderson and Normal West juniors Audrey Marsaglia and Maddie Bergeron.

Olivia Peters was a first-team pick for the third straight year. Joining her and Steffens as repeaters from last year's first team were Kosharek, Maggie Peters, Hieb, Bergeron, Nielsen and Watts.
