Colton Stogner leads off University High School's winning 400-yard freestyle relay during last year's Intercity Meet. Stogner is the defending champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle events entering Tuesday's Intercity Meet at Bloomington.

FYI: No. 11-state ranked University High is the reigning Intercity champion. At last month's Peoria Notre Dame Invitational, U High won while Normal Community finished fifth and Normal West sixth. In the Bloomington Invitational, NCHS finished ahead of West and BHS.

Alabama recruit Colton Stogner of U High is the two-time defending champion in the 50 freestyle and the defending champion in the 100 freestyle. He holds the Pantagraph area record in the 100 free at 45.46 and his 20.72 best in the 50 free ranks second in area history.

Wisconsin recruit Harrison Fudge of U High is the area record holder in the 100 breaststroke at 58.27. Teammate Josh Depomuceno, the reigning breaststroke champion, ranks seventh in area history at 59.39.

Thomas Reedy of NCHS has the top Intercity breaststroke time this season at 59.91. Other returning champions are U High's Anthony Williamson in the 200 free (1:48.43) and Andy Ritsema in the 100 butterfly (55.30). The top-seeded diver is Caleb Jirek of Normal West (195.60).
