University High School senior Lilly Culp, a two-time state meet medalist, will make her fourth appearance in Friday and Saturday's 44th annual state meet at Evanston.

Intercity Swim Meet

When: 5 p.m. Thursday at Normal West High School

FYI: Defending champion Normal Community has won four of the past five titles. In the Sept. 22 Bloomington Invitational, Normal West won (335) followed by NCHS (280) and University High (256), while BHS was sixth (202).

The lone returning champion is U High's Lilly Culp, who has won the past two 100-yard breaststroke titles. She will skip that event, but is the top seed in both the 200 IM (2:12.63) and 100 fly (59.16). Another two-event favorite is Macy Rink of BHS in the 200 free (1:53.98) and 100 free (52.98).

Rounding out the top-seeded individuals are U High's Poleena Kovalaske in the 50 free (24.73), West's Ali Pearson in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.61) and NCHS' Anya Weber in diving (224.45), Sophie Benson in the 100 back (1:03.22) and Paris Wills in the 500 free (5:18.71).
