Team outlook: The top-ranked entrant is No. 7 Peoria Notre Dame, the Big 12 Conference champion. Reigning champion University High is ranked No. 11.
Individual outlook: The only top-seeded Intercity entry is U High's 200 medley relay (1:38.92). Justin Alderson of the Metamora co-op is favored to win the 200 IM (1:56.97) and 100 breaststroke (59.75). In the 100 backstroke, three entrants have been under the state qualifying standard including defending champion and top-seeded Brett Spires of Pontiac (52.01) and No. 2 seed Andy Ritsema of U High (53.23). Alabama recruit Colton Stogner of U High has been under the qualifying standard in the 50 free (21.68) and brings a best of 47.82 to the 100 free. Stogner is the defending champion in both events. Wisconsin-recruit Harrison Fudge of U High (1:00.74) is the returning champion in the 100 breaststroke.
