Summaries of Pantagraph-area track meets played on April 27.

Mahomet-Seymour takes title: Mahomet-Seymour won nine of the 12 relays en route to victory in the Pontiac Relays. The Bulldogs scored 145 points, well ahead of second-place Pontiac (82.5) with Providence third (82).

Chase Alford of Pontiac was a double individual winner in the long jump (20-4¾) and triple jump (42-5).

James wins three events: Julie James of El Paso-Gridley was victorious in the 800 meters (2:20.10), 1600 meters (5:17.18) and high jump (5 feet, 2 inches) as the Titans finished third in a six team meet at Clinton. Lexington edged Monticello, 135-122, to capture team honors.

Asmus leads Heyworth: Ben Asmus won three events to lift host Heyworth to victory in a quadrangular meet. Asmus captured the 100-meter dash (11.15 seconds), 200 (22.34) and 400 (49.81).
